Afternoon
Winter's coming (well, on the bottom half of the world atleast) and my little Falcon is getting harder and harder to start on these cold mornings......10,000+ hours probably isn't helping. What kind of pre-heat/cold start system did the old orange and blue air cooled Sames have? Or do they not have anything at all? I seem to recall the old air cooled Deutz engines had an intake heater injector flame thrower glow plug thing.

I'm struggling to find any information online and haven't seen anything obvious on the engine (I didn't look very hard). I don't really want to use ether.

Hmmmmmm. It's got this thing (red arrow), the little round knob on top can be pulled out about 2cm and it springs back in if you let it go. Nothing else on or around the pump that I can see.

Make sure you have the hands Throttle approximately half open before pulling the excess fuel button up it should click and then stay up until the tractor starts

don’t think the excess fuel will engages when the hands Throttle is at Tic over
