SAME Iron 150/Deutz Agrotron 150 - Engine size, loader, FLPTO

Evening
I'm about to be the owner of an older SAME Iron 150 but I can't figure out what engine it's got (I haven't seen the tractor in person yet, just been told it's a Deutz engine). Because it's not a 150.7, am I right in thinking it won't have a 7.1L Deutz engine? If so, what does it have instead, surely not the old 6.0L 1000 series SAME engine? I've heard of a mythical 6.0L Deutz engine but can't find much evidence that such a thing actually exists.

What's the difference between a 150 and a 150 S?

Since it's essentially an orange Agrotron 150 (not 150.7), are Agrotron loader brackets likely to fit? What about a front linkage and PTO?

A 150 Agrotron, has a 6 litre , Deutz 2012 ( engine type , not production year ) engine fitted to it.

A 150.7 Agrotron , has a 7.2 litre ,Deutz 1013 engine fitted.
There are only colour and cosmetic bodywork differences between the Agrotron and Same Iron.

Sauter front linkage and pto, we're the standard fitment for these. The front linkage has side rails, from the front linkage back to the transmission casing. The loader brackets replace these side rails, when fitted. Depending on loader brand, you sometimes bed to make a couple of plates , to tie in the front linkage.
A 150.7 is the better of the 2, due to the bigger engine. Know of several with over ten thousand hours . Without any major repairs. They are arguably on of the best Deutz tractors ever built.

Thanks. Am I right in thinking a front linkage and loader brackets from a 7.2l likely won't fit a 6.0?

The front linkage itself, will fit right on, to the tombstone. The two side rails and / or loader brackets will be about 40mm longer on ones made for a 150.7.
It would be an easy modification , to make them fit, would just need new holes drilled .

The bolt hole threads on an agrotron, in the tombstone and transmission casing are an odd size, M20 x 2.0.
Rather than standard metric coarse at M20 x 2.5 , or metric fine at M20 x 1.5.
If you are getting second hand linkage and loader, make sure you get the bolts too. As they will probably have to be ordered, through a Deutz dealer or a good bolt supplier.
