You are quite right , bribing the judiciary must be about the worst any can do, but the awarding of many contracts to friends like Dido certainly look extremely dodgy and I would suspect in many judiciaries could attract very close attention
Im sure next year we will have an inquiry into the whole covid issue, get all the allegations out in the open and find out the facts, good or bad

Inquiries are to kick an issue down the road long enough to retire and collect your pension. No chance anyone in cureent government is ever going to answer real questions!

I bet that's what NS thought and Sarkozy thought
French system very different as individual judges can take it upon them selves to order a criminal investigation, where as in UK it is essentially up to the police. The systems are very different and levels of evidence and investigational independence are a world apart. Having partaken as an innocent witness in a major trial under a European legal system , you understand what the Human rights act is all about.
