read a detailed report, re dairy products, and how they are no longer 'dangerous', can't quite remember who did it, but it was one of the serious groups, might have been gen board of doctors, printed it off, had a doctors 2nd appointment, first time she had pretty well damned all milk products, gave it to her, it was in the bin as I left the room, she was a locum. How can you tell people about the benefits of dairy products, when you are up against attitudes like that ?
6 months later, when I went again, told my regular doctor, who had the same views as me

Red meat

A controversial study says cutting down on sausages, mince, steak and all other forms of red or processed meat is a waste of time for most people.
The report - which disagrees with most major organisations on the planet - says the evidence is weak and any risk to people's health is small.
Some experts have praised the "rigorous" assessment.
But others say "the public could be put at risk" by such "dangerously misguided" research

Sorry, shameless plug but....

If anyone's in the area (see profile), we won this year's title of "Best sausage in UK & Ireland 2019" - not bad for a small family business that used to be pig farmers.

Everything in moderation and quality not quantity is what I usually say.
I'm nearby, or miles away, depending on which part of Hants you're in. A link in your profile would be handy. :)

Thanks. Greenfield Farm Shop/Pork Products. Facebook is current if you do that. Website waaay outdated - major job for New Year....

Bang goes any anonymousness on here. Haha.

Were farming and still hope to be able to rear own stock if it makes sense again but all meat bought direct from local farmers, largely within 50 miles or from our closest abattoir (obviously again sourcing locally).
