Any problem moving tups off my farm Sunday morning and moving ewes on Sunday afternoon? The ewes triggering a standstill only stops you moving stock off your holding. You can keep bringing stock on.
No that isn't a problem.Any problem moving tups off my farm Sunday morning and moving ewes on Sunday afternoon?
Hopefully someone can answer that one for you.You say '13 days'. Here it's 6 days. Does this mean each part of Britain is different, and, if so, why?

Yes, we have a longer standstill period up here. Further back in time it was actually 21 days but that was reduced .You say '13 days'. Here it's 6 days. Does this mean each part of Britain is different, and, if so, why?

I do, the rules should be the same across the board, one for all and all for one.No, its not to be "awkward" @Hilly
I'd much rather have our stricter rules and therefore have the high health status which Scotland enjoys re TB/Scab/BVD/BSE etc (forgive me if that list is not 100%, I can't be bothered googling, but I'm sure you get where I'm coming from)

Can't be though - not until health status is the same across the board.

Then I think they'd have to bring back the grants for sheep fanks with dippers, because I think that a huge number will have gone over the years, and frankly, I can't see that ever happening again. The way things have gone they should bring back compulsory dipping.. selling stock for most people now is all about adhering to withdrawals of dectomax :/
