That’s socialism....
And how are they going to use this money?, i read a report in the Western Mail, last Tuesday, which stated that the numberCount yourself lucky in Scotland,in Wales our socialist assembly have stolen the money from us and are not giving it back!
is this 55k for the actual convergence cash or including your sfp? anyone know the £ per acre for region 1 land? its all been kept pretty quiet considering its getting paid out in marchI doubt the he will be anywhere near that limit anyway. Most of it is to go to LFA farms.
Surprised the limit is set that high. Will be interested to see what the average per business works out at. Be surprised if it’s more than a couple of thousand each but as they say, every little helps
Don‘t fancy one of your top surgeons anywhere near me @Still Farming
Even an average one is on £100K plus
how much will it be per beef calf?

Check with your local NFU livestock personhow much will it be per beef calf?
Tell us more.Count yourself lucky in Scotland,in Wales our socialist assembly have stolen the money from us and are not giving it back!
WAG have taken the full 15% modulation, yes there’s been an equipment grant scheme however you had to spend in the order of £25k-£30k to get £12k back.Tell us more.
A couple of years ago when a lot of people's BP's was late for no reason,Carwyn Jones came to the Nfu building at the rwas to give a talk about something else. When thrown open for questions, every question was why the payment was late. After about six,he blurted out" If I had my way you wouldn't F#####g have any" and walked out. Sums up the Welsh assembly.WAG have taken the full 15% modulation, yes there’s been an equipment grant scheme however you had to spend in the order of £25k-£30k to get £12k back.
There are no hill payments,no calf payments and other than BPS (-15%) there are environmental payments generally not worth bothering with as you have to spend as much on fencing etc. to get the money back.
Luckily in Wales we have Farming Connect advisory service which keeps the palms of consultants well greased.
Fergus Ewing has said it'll take LFASS back up to its normal value. Saving him the hardship of finding the money himself, which is what should have happened. So if youve 100ha of grade 1, you get 1500£, that doesn't go far or buy much, what about the lfass top up, no mention of that.
Is that not just the extra £10 million he's talking about? That's how I read it anyway.Nothing to region 1 ??
