Deadline seems to have been extended again, until the end of the year.

Deadline extension is to take delivery. Application still had to be in by 31st March.

Our squeeze crush was delivered coming up for a fortnight ago. Had 2 small groups of cows through it and happy with it so far. Not sure it'll last as long as the Ritchie Continental it's replacing (which was bought from DEFRA at the end of 2001, but had not seen a lot of work), but half price with the grant you can't really go wrong.

The sheep tag reader has been a game changer - and all I'm doing is scanning the cull ewes as they leave. Bought a cheap thermal printer off eBay for it. Saves a lot of faffing about trying to read and write down numbers, should've got one years ago

Did you get approval for a 'stick reader', but bought a handheld instead? Just checking as I'm intending to do the same if I've time and permitted. I asked the question to the dept just to be sure, but haven't had an answer. Assume your claim went through ok? Cheers.
