Scottish lfass, loan, alot less.

Just got a letter explaining the lfa loan and how much it is, as l claim the same every year, l know how much its been over the last few years and this is working out a good bit less than normal, l have no penalties to come off, is everyone the same that's received this letter today or just me.

I phones Perth and the lady said it was down to the 20&cut, but she said it might get topped up buy the divergence cash, but she also said everyone will get a payment around may/June time. She wasn't to sure, but should get something extra. %cut.

Yes, ewing said he would keep it at 2018 level, l dought he was able to do that, so he's using that divergence money to top it up, l don't agree with that, where is the money to come from in 2021?,as it runs a year behind. He will have to many posh landowners pals to do away with it.

Is this what happens when Scottish government gets put in charge of finances?

So they are not going to decide on Agri scheme applicants until February? I wonder if those successful will still have to carry out all the fencing etc in yr 1 ?
College think yes, no extra time. Biggest issue would be less time to get hedges planted at start of the year. If theyre planted in the back end of the year you miss a management payment

i believe the lfa farmers are getting the convergence cash and split over 2 years, that will be a significant amount
Aye

That'll be to reduce tax paid on the "windfall".

Though with livestock prices less than they were 10 years ago, subsidy income less than it was 20 years ago, while seed, feed, fuel and machinery have all more than doubled, there aren't many of us lfass boys making much profit to start with ?
