A big hydraulic steel pipe or a little steel brake pipe ..........
Were you using the brakes again?

Its about 10-15mm. It goes to an elbow into th bottom of the box

Return from the hydraulic slice (tipping pipe handle) if it has one.
It might take a tightening? But wait until the holidays are over, in case it comes off in your hand.
Could have been the steam cleaning loosened it ...........

Ok then smarty pants, on the gearbox left side there's a steel pipe heading upwards, where does it go?

Feck knows I only know where the dipper is cos the fitter showed me.

Just to right the balance of me been a mechanical numpty on this thread he did look very dissaproving when there was no oil on the stick he had just shown me

You need the longer version of the stick. It was an option for scraper tractors.

Is that a pipe that stick up into cab?
If what I'm thinking dip stick is ment to be in there, oil some times come out of there if too much oil

A blocked breather can cause that.

Sneaked out today to make a start on my lights


Bit of overhang round the roof we replaced with stokboard a while ago.

Set to with a very technical piece if chalk and a straight edge. Straight edge was covered in dried cow sh1t to maintain some credibility as a live stock farmer.

Back done no bother. Not sure about the front the cab is narrower and the left light is straight in line with the exhaust. See how much glare there is they may get sent to headlight position instead.

Texscrewed the front brackets on as to keep them as wide apart as possible I couldn't get to the nut on the inside as it was within a box section.
