I want to make my own mesh doors for a building and I don’t know what the term is for that material which is a mesh that’s see-through, but can be ratcheted tight.

Any ideas?

probably easier buying the proper things and have them made to measure, if you do your own how are you gonna put an edge on the net to stop it splitting when tightened, also how would you tighten them

You can buy gale breaker mesh in rolls, i have see some farms that pinch it between the rsj's and a plank of wood rather than buy the made to measure Gbreaker with the straps

Hi Flintstone,

Happy to price up both mesh on the roll and Bayscreens (these are the ones with the ratchets) - feel free to phone the office on 01531 637900

Best regards,

We got ours from Net World Sports windscreen cut it with soldering torch which sealed the edges. Used ratchet straps and cable ties to attach between stanchions, has been up for several years and lasting well.
