Searching for Land East Sussex

I’m searching for some land to buy in the South East between Alfriston and Haywards Heath upto 10ha to start a small horticulture business. Does anyone have any good ways of approaching farmers directly without being a pain in the arse?

If anyone knows anyone in these areas considering selling some land let me know. I’ve tried estate agents but not much seems to get to market, studied ag at uni but finding it really difficult to break into the market.
