Edwards Advanced Seaweed with BioN.
Hi anybody bought or used this product yet ? , seems to be all over Fakebook according to my younger members of staff who are constantly going on about it

Don't you think that if they could CF or YARA would rather cart this around the country then 28t on AN or Urea they would?

Don’t look at me. I have an allergy to snake oil and opportunistic marketing.

No doubt the current fert prices will see lots coming out of the woodwork.

i enquired about it the other day. this is the email they sent me.

i know a guy down the road whos been using the calcified seaweed for years. but not with bioN, he loves it,

Lets crunch the numbers:

£7k for an IBC: @5L Ha (2L/acre) it costs £34.60/ha
The magic dust @£120/kg: @250g/ha (100g/acre) it costs £29.65/ha
Combined (as recommended): £64.65/ha
or £78/ha if you use the 10L cans.

I don't think so.
How about someone posts the details of the manufacturing company, so we can take a look at who the directors are, and follow the money.
And while were at it, are there any 'independent and verified trials results'?

I would say none but if it has free fixing soil bugs etc etc in it then it might. ...might being the key word fix N there is trial data out there on some other products with N fixing bugs and in the rising costs of fert do start to stack up

It’s ‘just’ N fixing bacteria and you get a hell of a lot of bacteria in a gram.

At that money, I’d certainly want to see some independent trial data before having a dabble.

I’ve put it out for a few customers not seen the results myself as not been near the ground but they are saying there is more grass than usual

No bought two loads of hay instead
