If you have a tractor that pulls a 5 furrow plough then I’m sure it would pull 2.5 meter sumo .

Probably. I’ve never seen one. How does it work?
I was thinking of a few different kinds. A rigid tine cultivator, like a vaderstad cultus. One with fever tines and discs. Dtx i think the one i saw was named. Tulip also make one. The rigid tine cultivator i available from many.
But maybe there are more options. I have a 7930 to put in front of it.

Have 5fr kv auto reset vari here
Good plough but heavy .

Pulled 5fur KV with a MXM140 for years in all different kind of ground from heavy clay to light land up and down hills no problem.
I had a 3.3 sumo on the back of a case magnum 7220 pro for a good few years also .front end was a bit light when traveling but it was ok .

Kvernland make quite a few models of the 5 furrow.
All i know is going from a Dowdeswell 5 shear bolt
to kv reset is a big weight difference.

I have a 5 furrow kverneland eg100. It is heavy and long. Last year we used it on a 7 ton tractor with a 1000 kg concret front weight. That was too light for comfort in hills.
Now we use it on an 9 ton and longer tractor with the same front weight. That is a completely different experience.
For pulling, almost any will do. I don’t think any tractor that can lift it, can’t pull it with ease.

Does it have V or XL bodies? (It is an overum painted red, right?)
I will never have one without vari width, most for convenience. My soils vary a lot.
If you run wide tyres (600 or more) i would look for 28 bodies. If not, 9 is also fine.

It's basically a ransomes.
They were brought by agrolux IIRC. Then 2 yrs later overum took over.
Ours is from the period before overum fully took over.
Think the timeline is something like that.....

Go vary if you can find one to suit your budget it’s not the end of the world
Disagree sorry. Looks just like an Overum to me. Think the last Ransomes ploughs were the 300 series and it looks nothing like those. Does it perhaps have ransomes (UCN) bodies on it?

Ransome bodies but overum frame/rear wheel etc. Something to do with the agrolux/overum tie up.

Don't think the plough range knew what it was. A bit of this, that and the other with badge engineering going on.
