If your business trades as a partnership and purchases items is it covered by the Act? I see that it does not apply to limited companies, limited liability partnerships and other organisations outside the scope of the Consumer Credit Act.

In my experience no, even as a sole trader if the invoice has a business name on it and you try and get a credit card payment on they will refuse even if on a private credit card.
