Seed caddy ideas

Don’t think they made many of them. Probably got pulled to bits when the tool bar has the legs inn.
I recall someone from Clayson saying to they changed from a caddy to the later trailed design to make it better balanced. The weaving has no shortage of metal in it for strength, but also a lot more for ballast on top of that, to keep some nose weight when the toolbar is raised and hopper is empty. There front of the box section chassis rails are filled with more steel. The load bearing down on the back of the tractor is very noticeable when my GD caddy has the toolbar down.

Got a weaving caddy to work with. Linkage doesn’t lift high enough for the claydon at the moment but I maybe be able to alter that. But to be fair quite like the big disc.

I've always wondered about these mid mounted seed carts. How do they deal with compaction?

Was a lemken working in Holland on video page with power harrow, seed box, then coulter bar.

Love the filling system for sprayer! :ROFLMAO:

sepa would have your knackers for filling up at the burn ( if they catch you at it ).

I,m not sure there is anything stopping you filling at a burn as long as you have measures in place eg anti siphon etc so that chemical can not come out filling pipe and or separate pump,,but for me no way will we fill out of a water course apart from maybe dirty water in spray tank the chances of a chemical spill just puts shivers up my spine, the price of a tank pales into insignificance with a chemical spill near a watercourse

i've filled at burns but not put the chems in there if at all possible to avoid. did you notice the guy was emptying the chem container the wrong way, he should have the pour spout at the highest point.
