Cannot believe 600 tons of Scotch seed are set to be exported direct to Russia.
Scottish government apparently have approved it…
Total Value said to be £660k….
Firstly have the vendors got no conscience…secondly Scottish Gov could easily have found £600k to buy them and send for animal feed…
Shamefull!

I’m sure I saw wee nippy and her sidekicks gave 400k to some African sport therapy thingy on Comic Relief last night . I’d suggest the money would have been better spent on Shooting the toe rag who is selling the tatties to Russia, then using the rest to get the recently blackballed Shetland oil expansion up and running !

So Scotland now has 50 billion roubles in exchange for some spuds.
They'll be trillionaires when Putin dies.

Seriously though, I thought the banks for foreign trade had shut Russia out?

So what are the names behind the deal?
Heard a quote from someone involved that these deals are difficult to halt because it took four to five years to produce seed potatoes…

All in all the lives and future of Ukraine Farmers and their staff is a dam sight more important.☝️(wrong finger but best I could find)

“A PepsiCo spokesperson told the outlet that as a food and beverage company, it "must stay true to the humanitarian aspect" of the business. "We are continuing to support the livelihoods of the 40,000 Russian agricultural workers in our supply chain as they face significant challenges and uncertainty ahead," they said. “

I sincerely hope this comes back to bite the shameless money grabbing barstewards at PepsiCo on the arse.

As for the SNP's complete failure to block the shipment, perhaps we shouldn't be surprised.
And to think this Cockwomble almost led Scotland by the nose to 'independence' :

Brilliant Putin is attempting to destroy food production in the Ukraine in order to bring the world to let him do what he wants and people are selling him seed potatoes. Surely disguising 600 tonnes of seed potatoes with 600 tonnes of high explosive primed to go off when it gets close to Moscow might be a better plan. Or maybe that is the plan. Or maybe Putin has promised Sturgeon to help overthrow the Facists in Westminster.

Could always infect them with a disease I guess.
