I agree and they are marketed and blinged up for road bike market. but having seen the agri version I was quite impressed. Mechanic has worked on quods and trial bikes for 20 years and thought they would soon take up some of the market.

They do look well priced, but they are quite low powered for a 570cc, with a fairly low towing & rack capacity compared to their competition in that bracket.
Certainly interesting at that price range though, and would be more so if they bring an electric, or even hybrid, version out.

Not sure the ‘Snarler’ name is aimed at farmers somehow…

Farm spec with steel wheels £4999. Same as all new entrants to the market, most people.will wait until their friends or neighbour has had one for a while before risking one, like a cfmoto.

Loads of Comoto around here now, everybody seems to replace them with another which says something. I was looking at one the other day on a big dairy farm which gives them a lot of abuse, he said half the price of a yam and only difference was a poorer turning circle. The Segway has a very low towing capacity would make it useless on the majority of sheep farms.

The spec of the CFMoto looks very similar to a CanAm, almost as if the Chinese are adept at copying others. I've not seen one in the flesh to see how well built they are/aren't, but there's no getting round the price differences.

CanAm's aren't built as well as they were either IME, so may well be looking around next time.

Aye they're growing in popularity. Still haven't heard anything about how decent they are after a few years lugging a trailer and snacker about a hill but most who have them seem to like them

Friend ditched his "best bike ever" CanAm 570 for a Cfmoto.. but I'm not sure what that says as he fell out with a tractor dealership over a brand new tractor which had no problems 🤣

Non of them are, last yam here was little bits of bother and my new one has needed new steps at under a year. Yam warranty good though, dealer actually comes to you. Honda around here has to be taken in and collected which is a pain.

When i was school boy i played with dirt bikes , you bought one and rode it and rode and rode it for weeks months occasionally desert repair and repeat , fast forward when i was about 30 my mate went into motorcross , rode bike once spend fortune parts service tyres , ride bike again same , more interest in fixing and fannying about than riding , manufacture’s worked this out so now you buy bike and every week you spend …. They have got you ! Quads are going exactly the same ….

Did fancy one of the little Honda pioneer's 520 with a half cab, thought best of both worlds light as a quad but some weather protection and not much dearer than a quad. Yet the low towing capacity (about 400kg) would mean towing a round silage bale out or my 5 ewe trailer would mean constantly overloading it . Would this not be too much for it? Would that matter if keeping in the warranty period only?

Had a new moto here as a loan bike when my can am was in for service as dealer has both.
Couldn't get the can am back fast enough. Can am would have to deteriorate to a fraction of itself to consider 1 of them.

Is that a 700? They've fecked up the plastics, they're too brittle. You did well to get to under a year... new 700 delivered not far from me end.of December, they were broken by mid January (dealer sorted it very quickly and seems to be fine now - has lasted lambing as far as I'm aware)
