Thinking of having another breed of sheep on the farm. Want something hardy and maternal, that I can breed pure, keep replacements and sell surplus ewe lambs.
Upland wet farm.
What breeds would you suggest?
Want to keep 2-300 of them.

Surely if your an upland wet farm you already have a breed? What breed are you currently running?

Lairg type north country Cheviot, ignore all other suggestions 👍😂
I agree.

The right type of Lairg Cheviot is just about the best all-round breed on upland farms.

And surplus tight-skinned ewe hoggs of good confirmation usually sell at a a premium, at least in areas where there are decent sheepmen ( and sheepwomen) who know one type of sheep from another.

But if your land is good enough, you could consider Park-type Cheviots instead, but try to avoid those with long lugs, indicative of under-the -counter Border Leicester input.

Depends how hardy you need them to be? You describe your farm as upland but the suggestions so far have been more towards hill sheep. I'll put Easycare on the table as a suggestion, as they fit the self-replacing maternal breed brief perfectly and there are different types out there to suit different farms and systems.
