to other forum users YOU DONT PAY FINAL VALUE FEES ON EBAY CLASSIFIED ADDS!!! its just £10 thats it, like auto trader etc.

That said I advertised on Facebook machine sold in a week for asking price money in the bank…. To an age before it was collected mind. My rule don’t negotiate on price unless they are stood in front of you… waste of everyone’s time…

EBay, but put a high figure on it, a pic with your number and the serious buyer may contact you, fb is ok but you have to decipher the idiots and scammers, general life really

eBay classified, about £10 for an ad.

Facebook market place probably gets more enquiries, just got to be prepared to put up with time wasters sometimes. Works well though, I can't believe its still free and they're not charging for it yet!

Yes that's the worst bit.
usually if something hasn't sold in a couple of days I'll re list it. No one ever finds out by searching weeks later

I sold sometime earlier this week that was listed 3 months ago! But it does seem to drop off the radar a bit after about a week.

You are the expert, but I am surprised you sell so well on FB. I don't use it and don't know any local farmers either. ;)
I was flicking through my facebook feed this evening and Dave's hedgecutter came up. No idea how he got onto my feed as I have never interacted with him on FB and I only knew it was his because I recognised it from seeing it at his place last weekend. I didn't even know his surname so was rather surprised to see it there.
Clever stuff this FB marketing but even though it is less than he told me at the weekend it's still too dear for me. :D
