Has anyone ever sold a memorable number?

Wife purchased new phone in carphone warehouse today, fellas in the shop were high as kites when they saw the number on the Sim that came with it.

Number is 077888222# (kept one off the end)

Anyone looking for a very easy to remember number? If I hadn't got so many people with my number I'd maybe keep it myself.

I'm a numbers person and I only know 4 'by heart' all the rest are just stored in the electronic brain. They could be 1234567890 for all I know.

that's only maximum of 10 goes to get it right maybe you should have left more out if you didn't anyone to ring it

sim card isnt in a phone, just came as part of the package, weve no reason to need it. if it hadnt a memorable number it would be in the bin.

You would have been better selling it to the over hyper sales assistants, once a number is plumbed into a phone, nobody ever sees the number again, just scroll down, find miniconnect then press call

I used to do a bit with phone number buying and selling, and there used to be bronze, silver and gold numbers, with different premiums. This would probably be a bronze. Unless you have a fair few to sell, an auction site may be your best bet. By chance I have a Silver number and get commonly asked by Orange/EE staff how I got it.
I cannot work out any words with the letters represented as this would be the market to go for.
