We have a bit to much grass to graze, there has not been any stock on it since February, its getting more like a hay or silage field crop, and will just get wasted if try to graze it,
We are thinking of selling the grass, what would be a fair price per bale to sell it for,
We could cut it and Ted it, but thought fairest way let them bale it and cart it off,
That way any complaints about bale weight would be there problem not ours,

So basically what would be a fair price to ask per bale off the field, with them baling it ?

TIA

£5 per bale or £50 per acre assuming if they do all the work.

All cash. 👌

Just give £40 an acre for cutting grass, I’ve gotta pay contractor to do everything to it including the haulage, he charges £15 a bale for that, hauling it 7mile

In those situations, who stands it if the hay gets rained on and has to be wrapped or weather is against cutting it for weeks on end .

me.....i won't cut til july and do all work meself so in control.....close call with my 'antiques; last year though:inpain:

i suppose the weakness from a vendor perspective is buyer comes in.....hashs it up and refuses to pay
