Selling marrowfat peas without a contact

I’m sure I’m going to have a few tonnes of karbui peas left on farm. To get a contract I need to buy a realistic amount of seed. So just wondering if anyone has grown them without a contract and sold them ok

I’d say that will be risky, given that there will be a huge area of spring cropping next year.

You could always grow them as feed using the leftover seed if it tests ok but the economics of feed peas aren’t great. What did you desiccate them with? Maybe worth a call to PGRO to see what they advise.

I have done both, I think a contract is saver.
Last time I grow without I had to wait 3 yrs to sell them for good money.
