Selling Prime Hoggs ?

I know no one has a crystal ball, but whats the general feeling with selling Hoggs at the moment
just bought mine in and feeding cake, there almost there some big lambs, but see the trade is dropping off already, do I sell or hang on for a month or so? Ta.

Depends if you like a gamble or not I'm holding on and if it goes tits up I'll extend the overdraft

Yeh your probably right 2 maybe three weeks at best and they will be fit

Ive still got 350 running round just eating grass,thats if they can find any.They seem happy enough in this warm weather(its too good to be true really)

Been selling Hoggs live the last few weeks, 40-45kg avg £80
40kg have been making more than 45kg

The big worry,this year,is Brexit which could have a massive effect on lamb prices.With a no deal the price will probably collapse ,it's a gamble and it all depends how much nerve people have got.If they're fit then I would get them gone.

I think I will run a trailer load in next week and see how it goes, need to see £80+ really
If there in the 60s or something silly I will gamble the rest. Having said that stores today were to £80 so should be ok.
