Daily!? No wonder serviced agronomist charges more.
Hardly ever do a T3, so for me it is just the norm and take the risk.. We did quite a strong T2 and so hopefully that will do.Why no T3?
I meant walked daily by myself or someone else’s not the agronomist.Daily!? No wonder serviced agronomist charges more.
Just put a fungicide on and go and do something productive or spend time with family.I meant walked daily by myself or someone else’s not the agronomist.
Couldn't agree more. This used to wind me up but actually I couldn’t give a toss about people getting fleeced and being utterly clueless, it’s their own fault.
Can’t help everyoneOk I'll be the horrible person an

Strobe and azole t3 cost me £4.15 acre add ctl for another £2
No sign of anything untoward in the crops. So I was reluctant to put anything else on until signs of a issue. It’s crop walked daily anyway.
Poor dogs would be crossed legged. There is only 90 acres here so I walk round it everyday with them. Two birds one stone kind of thing.Just put a fungicide on and go and do something productive or spend time with family.
It sounds like much pee is being taken to me
Time to ask some questions I think
Yep I’ll be having a chat to our man and discussing their pricing of chemicals etc and how we will be looking to change if things aren’t improved dramatically. All the joys of the first year of having the land back in house rather than rented out.
You'll be fine. I dropped angry and they still send me invites to all there meetings in the region, I've even still got there basic NDVI thingy-ma-jig as I'm "customer". They're thick skinned so you'll be fine.
The variety, Nelson, with the lower cost of inputs is probably the variety with the best all round disease resistance available so if there were any potential savings due to the variety then you would see it with Nelson.I love the fact that the agronomist wanted to spend more on the blend than the single variety. Clearly didn’t grasp the concept!
I agree to a point about being fleeced but I still get worked up about the over use of Chems which will come back and bite us all in the arse eventually, it's morally and environmentally wrong. This used to wind me up but actually I couldn’t give a toss about people getting fleeced and being utterly clueless, it’s their own fault.

But it still goes on...
The rate we are loosing chemicals, it might bring about the end of the serviced agronomy business model!
The nelson is spotless even in the corners where I missed with the sprayer just very tall but still standing well I migh be brace next year and leave a small feild not sprayed at all unless it desperately needs it but I was always told it's a organic varietyThe variety, Nelson, with the lower cost of inputs is probably the variety with the best all round disease resistance available so if there were any potential savings due to the variety then you would see it with Nelson.
