We had New poles all across our land,only damaging a field of beans twice because the neighbour made them move them off his land on ours.Which was no problem except one is in the field the rest in the hedge because someone told them it was his field.Landagent got more money than I was going to ask.
Don't even think about ANY kind of negotiations with ANY services people - don't even spit out in their presence without a competent land agent there to hold your hand ! I do know this from past experience , and they will know many options , snags even , that you would never even have known or thought about . Best part ? They will have to pay your legitimate expenses for him/her - indeed they actually prefer to deal with a pro.
Its a private electric supply cable installed as a replacement on an existing easement.
