Did once but price came into it, was a few years ago now. Did wear well though.Do you use the tungsten tips @General-Lee
We think they are worth the extra as they then tend to last the life of the share without turning anything!Did once but price came into it, was a few years ago now. Did wear well though.
Seem to recall lasted a share and some, we had some ceramic tips for our drill for years then we transferred them to the Woods and went on and on.We think they are worth the extra as they then tend to last the life of the share without turning anything!
What plain or tungsten? We just got some new tips from spaldings for the woods they were 6 quid each think the rep said they are ex avenue stock not used them yet but they look the business
That's interesting, we still got the red version, spend a few days in the workshop on it, just got to re bush the headstock and be almost as good as new, cousins one looks good! What plain or tungsten?
On a side issue used our Shepherd 'Woods' for the 1st time (got it new last year) and not very happy with the finish seems worse than the Woods.

Better in the 2nd pic but leaving ridges when rolled on the headland the rolls bounce when doing the inside, may see if boss will look for an alternative.
Could well be 4.6m with heavy angle iron welded on the levelling boards?Think our woods possibly your old one, came from beares from a farm near them!
