SFI acceptance

Has anyone had an SFI application accepted in the last month? If so, when did you apply?

I tried to do a SFI add on for multi species over winter cover crop On 1st August, gave up after 3 weeks and still not heard back from RPA.

Seems like they don’t realise there are timescales for getting a successful crop to grow, especially 800ft up in the north east of england

I’m wondering the same. Submitted a very simple application on 20th August but not heard anything back yet. It’s now really too late to start doing any reseeding for this year for us so I guess we just wait and see.

So the SFI specialist from a big chemical distributor was incorrect saying no new agreements till after the October budget.

That's good news, otherwise would be looking at Dec 1st earliest start date for those '24 agreements not already accepted.

Same here. Will you silage some of the herbals ?that was my only concern but been convinced otherwise

Was that for SFI23 or the expanded SFI24 @Northeastfarmer ?

Put an application in on 30th July, still nothing back. PITA when you've applied for extended overwintered stubble and left stubbles untouched in anticipation of being in the scheme.
