I've seen miles of hedges decimated locally, and all the back fencing replaced under some type of scheme. But also gone I hear, are all trees with a diameter over 6". Including mature oaks and all sorts of valuable trees aged between the - 6" target to leave, and above to clear fell.
Another farmer had an inspection, with a clipboard warrior wielding a tape measure.
Can this be real? And if it is, who on earth thought it up? And why?
