1% on admin. 70%+ participation rate. Public good by the shed load. Sorted :) .
The thing about hedgerow maintenance is that advice is already wishy washy. Talking to a wildlife expert he recommended cutting them yearly but leaving them several inches longer each year for 3-4 years then cut them back to the original size to keep them dense so that they give small birds and mammals protection from predators while NE etc say leave them several years to go wild then cut it or just leave them.
