SG2 Cab Mounts

Hi, I've recently bought a 1981 John Deere 1640 which I'm going to give a bit of a freshen up. It's pretty sound all round but has a bit of rust round the front of the cab which will need attention.

It's really noisy in the cab so I'm going to sort out the door frame, replace the interior cladding (seems really expensive for what it is!), but I also need to replace the cab mounts. Can anyone give me some advice on doing this? Does the cab have to be disconnected to jack it up for instance?

We had a couple of John Deeres in the mid 80's and it's bit of a trip down memory lane for me.
