Shakerator air seeder

Looking at a cheap way to put in my HLS covers and potentially down the line sow my rape with it also
Looked into a stocks turbojet but trying to get my head around how to mount it on our 7leg shakerator and wether it's better to use the seed pipes down the legs or in a row in front of the roller with the spreader ends fitted to the pipes
Has anyone got one fitted up or even better any pictures of how its mounted?

Some pics of small seeders on a Shakerator. We make up a distribution bar which can go in View attachment 229424 front or behind the packer, or you can just use spreader plates.
We have been supplying small seeders for planting cover crops etc... www.bullocktillage.co.uk

I have used various pipe/spreader set ups over the years. My advice would be to spend the winter fitting both options to the machine. Better to do it now when you have a bit of time on your hands than be messing about on the day you are using it !

That is interesting indeed!! not heard of bullock tillage before but looks a good product, whats it like for filling the hopper mounted that high? can the seeders be made to connect to the "iso 11786" tractor speed sensing plug like would be used for the fert spreader box etc, stocks can't make their mind up if they can or can't!!!

Bullock tillage do a good version of the slug pelleter as well, and very competitive on price, specially the 6m version that would suit a set of rolls ;)

We already had a Techneat Terracast for applying vydate onto potatoes when planting, we had it on a shakerator previously and put in rape and stubble turnips but it wasn't the best.

Now we've fitted it to the Discerator and I've improved the setup somewhat.
Drilled 60ac of cover crop with it direct to stubble using scatter plates but the metering unit didn't get on with the seed very well.
We had a calibration issue with the stubble turnips but the rape I put in looks very good!

I know one ,run for years with out ? it pulls to deep all the time , then bogs a 125 hp tractor
I 'm sure its way less efficient without ? but I'm not the farmer
