Got a start today with 115 ewe hoggs and 14 rams done in two places. Was going all right to be fair, and not hurting too much yet.
Opted for a thin short bevel comb to start but it took some pushing so swapped over to a thick medium bevel comb and that went a bit better.

Equipment question:
I’ve got a lister solid drive that rattles horribly, led to believe that worn spindles in the elbow joint can cause this, looking at them they were definitely needing replaced as there wasn’t much left of the oil grooves.
Bought a pair from Horner, but the ones they’ve sent are for the hooked guts, where as mine screw into the guts. I tried to explain this on the phone but the lady I spoke to didn’t seem to think there was an option…..is there? Is my dropper ancient? (Bought it second hand) Do I need to change to hooked guts?

It's usually worn cogs that clatter,
Cogs seem ok, will get some pics. It’s a horrible rattle that comes right through the hand piece. Tried different hand pieces old and new, all the same.
