Shearing set ups

Made myself a shearing rig out a stuff lying about, did my beltexs and tups today perfect just lift it in place fix some hurdles and go,

Good effort that. Looks like a lot of work has gone into it. Doesn't look very portable but guessing that doesn't bother you. We need to improve our setup so would be interested in seeing other people's setup

You've put a lot of effort into that it looks good


Is the gate not hinged on the wrong side though?

I only have 70 ewes and 3 tups, in 3 groups so I just work away at my own pace, saves grouping them all together to get someone in to do it. And then they don’t come because of bad weather ,
digger lifts it where I want it
I want to spend money on more sheep equipment used more often

Maybe not the best pics but here's what I shear from. Had 3 machines set up pulling from the 1 hatch, but it's usually 1 or 2. Works great - so much better than I ever expected it to

All packs up onto itself, and being on wheels goes anywhere
