Not quite yet. Had to do a mod on the front, windbrace was too high on the front, s and a were told about it at 9 this morning, had it sorted by dinner time, cant fault that for service.
Pannels in tomorrow, i should have timed it right for it to pee down, when we want to roof it.
Be full of stock before you know it, how many do you expect to keep in there?

Yeah I was going to suggest you'd be better off putting a straw shed up with all that straw outside :p
Are you putting in a feed pass in?
No not at the moment, gates on the front and barley hoppers in it. Long term yes but im trying to keep costs down. Yep the straw being outside drives me nuts. Some straw will go in this new one until i can up my numbers

Having checked my photos I realise there's a bit of a progression gap 😁

Site prepared/carved out of tractor burial ground a year before I finished making up the steel work hence why it looks a tad ramshackle. When finally ready hired 2 guys to help me and we got frame work up and purlins in a couple of days end of Sept

Then everything turned into a bit of a mess, autumn planting took over.. Also left making the overhang pieces (6ft) til last minute 😅

Put some shuttering in to concrete this little strip which was the depth of dished channel slabs below the existing yard. Channels in first to work out final floor fall levels and tamp off. Big hole on left is where old yard ends so needed to match those up

Rolled in drainage pipe (drains either end) along the concrete strip (both 6in).. Then packed it level with hardcore and poured a strip of concrete 10ft wide from inside the building to the dished channels (leaving some holes for gate posts). I used sheep mineral tubs to leave a post sized holes in the concrete 🤣
