I've got a shed to put up, had various quotes from compaies and have had a broad range of prices.

Some companies i've never heard of, some that i have, some that i have learnt are having financial difficulties (which i totaly understand in current climate).

Question is, who is "safe" to use right now and how do we know for sure?

Any recomendations....?

That's a good first step to make sure you don't lose out financially.

But if the OP wants their shed up by autumn/winter and the shed builders go pop halfway through the job, it could end up that it's left unfinished for a long time.....and then it's a right pig to try and get another company to come along and take over the half finished job and get it all done properly.

Had two buildings off GH construction, they were both settled in three payments, first when foundations are laid, next when everything is delivered, finally the erection fee, when it's up and I'm happy with it. Worked well for both parties.
