Shed cost

It’s hard to say erection costs areas are very different £2-5k for your size and situation. Also seems a weird size too
Any companies you’d suggest I could get a kit from? For around that price? Size wise I would like to go bigger but didn’t think would fit in budget. I have around 8k to spend on the kit. Thats why sides and door will need to be added in later years.

I had a quote in December for an 80x40, 15 foot to the eaves with an 8 foot canter leaver. 2 metre high concrete panels on 3 sides with vented green tin above and a 13 foot sliding door on one end. Came to 25k excluding delivery, erection and concrete floor etc. That’s from Shufflebottom before steel prices went up a lot.

Depends what guage of steel is used ,one can be built to withstand stresses
and last a lot longer than another. Some of the steel used in these cheap kits looks very thin. What about ground works, we put 400t stone in the base of a 100x60 ft building 4 years ago as the ground needed levelling up.
Have you thought about sh Timo?

Ground is fairly level so was hoping I wouldn’t need to put much stone in. I don’t really want to take out finance so was going to build in stages. Starting with roof on legs. Then adding sides, door and floor in the coming years. I have 2 self built shed out of timber and tin I built a few years ago that will need replacing in the coming years. I’m just looking into putting 1 large shed up that will last longer that can be finished over a couple of years
