Sheep Abortion Vaccine

Had an abortion storm a couple of years ago therefore I've vaccinated all the ewes and have done the replacements for this year.
Since then I've been offered the chance to take on some extra grazing which means I need to buy more sheep if I take it on.
Don't really want to let the land go as it would suit me much better than a lot of blocks I currently rent and could give them up in future years if I wanted to scale back.
As I lamb early I don't really want to go and buy ewes, wait for vaccine to arrive and then a further month before I tup them therefore are the new ewes highly likely to abort if I don't vaccinate them and mix them with my existing sheep? Ideally I'd keep them as 2 lots but don't see that being practical.

Which abortion agent are we talking about? If it’s enzootic, isn’t there a killed vaccine available that you can use on in-lamb sheep?

Otherwise, I would take the gamble personally, but plan to vaccinate them next summer, assuming they will be staying on. There’s probably more disease risk from the source farm than thee is from your own (vaccinated) sheep tbh, although there is a possibility of carriers even after vaccination iirc.:(
