I was looking at the goldfleece dip and was thinking about buying it now and using in the summer. So I was wondering would it still do the 16 weeks cover even if I had it for 6 months.

You won't get 16 weeks cover from sheep dip.

It won't go off but you will only get 8 to 10 weeks fly cover anyway

Yep. I was told there were 2 factories. One supplied Paracide & the other Golden Fleece.

Paracide 62 was made in China but they cant get the active ingredient anymore over there

If its left in the tin sealed in its raw form not mixed and its still in date it will be fine to use as it should have a shelf life of around 1 year at least from manufacturing

Why do you want to buy it now? It's not the cheapest stuff I ring up and get a drum dropped off or get one when I'm passing store when I'm thinking about starting. I've alot of stuff to get for lambing that I'd be thinking about first, even copper and jabs pre lambing

In that case check the expiry date would make me think it's coming close to it if there putting it on sale. If it's going to last and you want to crack on

Does OP dip actually ‘expire’? It always used to keep for years and be perfectly effective for ‘sloshing on’, in the good old days, obviously.

I know, everything has an expiry date on, and Farm Assurance insists that we never use anything past that date.

But anyway....
