Hi all,
My name’s Nicola Smith. I am NSA’s livestock researcher based at Malvern. I have been employed to work exclusively on NSA’s European project iSAGE.
iSAGE stands for Innovation for Sustainable Sheep and Goat Production in Europe:
http://www.isage.eu/
We are looking for farms to participate in individual sustainability assessments with the aim of assessing overall sustainability of different sheep and goat farm types across the UK. This is where YOU can help.
The assessment involves an on farm visit, arranged in advance at a time convenient to you. There will be a series of farm related questions lasting approximately 2-3h, with the aim of highlighting areas where your business is above average and also identifies areas which can potentially be improved. If time, a farm tour of the facilities would also be appreciated.
If you are interested in taking part, please message me, I'd love to hear from you. I can also send through further information on the iSAGE project, information highlighting further benefits to you and information on what sort of questions will be asked.
There will soon be more information available on the NSA website, if the iSAGE link doesn't answer your questions.
Thank you in advance for your help I look forward to hearing from you.
Nicola
