Think the yield meter shot up to about 15 ton / ha on that bit Pete.

Obviously you need 'a lot' more lime on that field, say 10 tons an acre?
I did a lot of lime spreading on one farm in the late 70s and all the lorry loads were tipped in the same place on a pp field. You can still see the tipping area in the mix of plants there.

What was the yield difference? I can see why you wanted to graze some!

No yield difference noticeable on combine yield meter. ( not accurate enough to pick up small differences though )
