I think you may get some offers now , turnips is an odd one , its not that cheap to grow so you need a sheep man who will work with you ,i would not bother here as returns dont cover the costs ,but i dont need the benefits it brings like an arable farm
Its breeding sheep keep thats in demand here so grass is a good earner

Other threads suggest we should all grow stubble turnips and leys for sheep fir free fertility on arable land..
But I got 80acre of grass for gazing and struggling to get anyone on it.

Might end up getting flail mower out ...
Where are you based please.

Very difficult to extract money from sheep men , the fertility issue is a bonus , I reckon we lose money on the deal overall .

Not where we are . Welsh mountain sheep have to come down and go somwere, does our psstures the world of good , cattle be gone soon as i cant have them doing damage when it starts getting wet , grass everywhere for the sheep to clear up
