So nobody thinks hay nets a useful idea even though they are used extensively by the horse world? Maybe that's why! šŸ˜‚
Iā€™ve been giving my daughters nag very good haylage/sometimes silage that the cattle are on, he bloody loves it but isnā€™t on ad lib, a woman has put a Shitland in with it to keep it company and has bought ā€œdenghieā€ bales as apparently mine wasnā€™t good for horses. It smells off/mouldy/still and my daughters horse wonā€™t touch it, heā€™ll be back on silage tomorrow. Apparently this woman said to my wife we need hay nets, our horse has been in there 4 months and hasnā€™t complained about the cattle mesh feeder that heā€™s had so far.... said feeder has been in the shed years mind šŸ‘šŸ»

@Jerry how much are the bucket holders and will they hold a 5litre bucket in place?

He owes you a pint or two.

Just placed an order for hay baskets, bucket holders and adopter hurdles.

A pallet full...[emoji23][emoji23]

Cheaper than MV and Iā€™d rather support some one trying to make a go of it then line MVā€™s pockets.

Make that another pint or 2 Iv got 2 pallets of stuff coming later in the week from him bit of a last minute panic job but he reckons he can have them palleted up and on there way by Tuesday evening so hopefully heā€™s as good as his word
I almost ordered some things from a popular Facebook seller recently until I realised there was literally hundreds of posts on there Facebook page asking where orders were and complaining of waiting 6-8 weeks for sheep hurdles [emoji51][emoji51]

Made my own here. The next ones I make I will leave the plywood sides square and longer and put piece of pipe on either side below the mesh to make a trough for each pen

Thatā€™s the one... hurdles looked good and well priced but wanted paying half up front which was a straight turn off and when I searched him on Facebook was hundreds of posts from people saying they still hadnā€™t got there stuff 6-8 weeks later and he didnā€™t respond too messages ect ... not a good way too be when selling too farmers

I'll have to ask him for commission! To be honest he's a cousin and only lives a mile or so away, he is a v good fabricator and very handy.
He made us a crook holder for the quad for a Kiwi crook, a fella came here shearing, saw it and fancied one, he made one for him to go home with. Ā£35 if I remember correctly

Forgot too post last week very happy with your mates stuff had 2 walk through feeders and 10 hay baskets delivered too Staffordshire in 7 days from me messaging him and for the price of about 1 IAE walk through feeder šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
