Sheep medicine record keeping

Surely there has to be some way of reading the boxes of antibiotics and wormers, and other sheep medicines so it just goes straight into your medicine/FA book including batch numbers and expiry dates? You could then link treatments to groups of sheep far easier?

Shearwell app very good if you got smart phone and tag reader all done out on the yard then forget about it

Yep, rip off stickers for the med book would make life so much easier

They all have QR logos on them but I don’t know of a way to link them to anything!

Hi Andy, You can do this on our iLivestock app. If you have an iPhone or iPad let us know and we can hook you up with a trail to see what you think. We have been working hard on this part of the app so looking for feedback.

Android app is coming end of this year start of next.

With the Shearwell app you can scan the QR when you add a medicine into stock and it adds the med, batch and expiry in for you. Or if you're doing a treatment you can use it to scan the medicine if not in stock and it puts the details in then for you.

I'm on Android so not sure if the iPhone version does the same but can't see why it wouldn't. Could you then use phone as extra device to scan and it would all sync up with the psion?

No you cant do that with the farmworks app. It just gets loaded up with the meds info that you have added to your meds purcheses/ in stock list on your main database

That stockmove express app with a live link to nlmd premium is a useful tool ir.
