Graze lambs on mustard here, they do well on it, and seem to get fat!! We have shy’d away from putting inlamb ewes on it just incase they got over fat

yea good feed , may take ewes a little while to get used to it (bit peppery ) , very quick , and good nurse crop though (as long as it didnt choke out under crop ) we found , but frost killed it if not grazed early and easily trod so wont last long , agree with JD was told good for worms as well , think be better with store / ewe lambs . maybe with turnips
Grazed some ewes pre scanning in jan last year, were fairly fat when I felt them at scanning was quite surprised, need a good acreage though as they go through it a bit quick, down with oats I recon would make a very good catch crop for early winter grazing
