Too true @glensman you can not believe how much they leave, i wonder at their capacity to hold so much and then save it till they go for a day out in the country. I normally do mine straight after breakfast and am lish as a whippet for the rest of the day, no wonder these townies move so effin slowly

@Old Tip, what about permanent fences and lock the gates?

already have locks on all the gates its a bloody pain but at least they cant get their cars in as well as all there junk, theres a down side to living in a beautiful part of the country but if a lot of us didnt keep tidying up all the crap these planks leave it wouldn't be beautiful at all.

Back on topic i think permeant fences would be my only option in my circumstances, just planning out how to do it and what numbers of sheep for each batch as a bit of a trial :)

Presumably there is no right of access to your land? Can you or the authorities deny them nearby parking, as it sounds like they don't like walking?

Doesn't bode well for the Access-Free-for-All proposed for Wales. :(

Has anyone been reading the The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) proposals? Under the Intermediate Level Payment for improved grassland, sward height must not be grazed below a minimum level. Does anyone know what this height is and whether it might be possible to incorporate rotational grazing into this system?
