Sheep software/reader

Just wondering what the options are for us running a large maternal pedigree flock and selling breeding stock.
We currently have border software and are quite happy with it but our reader is starting to do some odd things and it appears it’s not possible to replace this reader as the agrident part of the psion are no longer being made.

Other than shearwell what would suit us? Looking to do quite a bit of analysis on various traits.....weights, breeding records, lamb survival etc. Thanks

From the programs I’ve looked at in the past, I thought Border was by far the best for analysing and using all the data you collect.

Surely all programs will need a way of collecting the Eid numbers and for data input.

I'd love to sell you a system but I believe that border can work with the agrident readers. Also I have a workboat Pro reader that came back from a customer and I don't think it would have read 100 tags in its life. Will sell for £800. I also have 2nd hand agrident reader bits for the top of workabout pro. Will sell for £100 of you want to repair your old workabout Pro. And finally if you want to switch to our system we no longer sell workabout pros with new systems. Workabout pros are extinct. So we work exclusively with the range of agrident readers.
