Nah..... we just nicked all his water (&ice!) :sneaky:

@CopperBeech was dishing it out like it was going out of fashion :D

It was bloody warm in that tent!

Really good to meet some folk, although to be fair, it was mostly a case of chatting to the same folk I've met a good few times before, the exmoor contingent always on good form, as were the devonians. Just missed @Jerry unfortunately! Had a good natter with Easyrams junior, and the lads at Meatlink, and pestered the Exlana lot for their refreshments. Met a couple of lads off twitter to. .

As to the actual show, its not a major one is it, and it ticked the boxes. Although got to be honest, nothing new really, same stands, same stalls, If you've not been to one there were probably some impressive bits of kit, and seeing them in action is good etc, but for me, thats not the point, me and @Keepers don't have much of a social life, so its good to get out!

I went for the first time this year, the heat was a killer especially after a 2 hour drive up. Although I only have a very small flock I found it useful in starting to find a few replacements and chatted to Peregrine at Performance Lleyns and the Lleyn breed stand, both of which were very helpful and gave me some options on finding replacement ewes, so for me it was worth going up just for that. I'm not sure I would go up to every one though and thought there could have been some improvements, there didn't seem to be a main congregating area for talks/workshops for example and food options were a bit limited especially if you've had a long drive to the event.
