Hi i recently bought 2 pet lambs and i am looking for a well made vaccination programme. They are Texel bred and nearly a week old. Would anyone be able to help me by giving me an indication of their programmes? IE: what vaccine they use and what for? Also what age they give it at a d how many weeks between doses. Many thanks.

2 doses of Ovivac P+, 4-6 weeks apart, with the first at 3 weeks. If they are your only sheep, your vet or a local sheep farmer might sell you 2x2ml to do each time.

If you do them below 3 weeks, and they have had colostrum from vaccinated ewes, the vaccine would be effected by the cover from the ewe's colostrum. If you're absolutely certain the ewes hadn't been vaccinated, you could start now.

If these are your only sheep @Nadia you are going to find it really hard/expensive to buy vaccines. I'd have a word with your vet about the best way to go forward with these. People will quite often offer spare vaccine up on local smallholder FB pages.
