Sheepdog required

I need a sheepdog but the problem being I only have 300 ewes and would maybe struggle to keep a young dog busy enough. Nothing sophisticated required really just gathering sheep and driving field to field. Does anyone sell on older dogs which aren’t up to working a hill farm anymore? Assuming a collie but open to other suggestions!
I’m in Fife, Scotland.

Have seen decent working collies go through the blue cross, people buy the pups then realise theyre too much work and give them up. Could be worth a try as Edinburgh shelter has hundreds

Thanks, however I’ve no real experience training a dog so looking for a trained dog preferably

If your on Facebook the ‘sheepdog small talk’ page usually have older dogs advertised. All those pages relating to working dogs are fairly handy, if you put a post out, I’m sure you’d find what your looking for. Good luck [emoji5]
