We had 3000 litres for over the winter as it is -20c resistant.

Was a pain getting it as they couldn’t decide whether the minimum order was 3000 or 5000 litres.

Last time I priced they said it was 5000 litres minimum.

Was 3-4 pence a litre dearer at the time.

We switched to gtl over a year ago.
It’s a few pennies dearer but I haven’t had the hassle and cost of blocked filters.
Tractors, loader and combine all appear to have the same power, not sure about fuel economy.

Only get fame free fuel from Aberdeen. Its slightly more expensive than fame fuel from grangemouth. I use fame free from October and it starts to get colder. Never had any issues.

Presumably it's only worth it if you are running bang up to date (tier 4b/tier 5) machinery? Never had a problem on standard diesel with my gear but newest is 10 years old

ideally want to do detailed fuel consumption test - like for like
going to try doing it on the fendt fuel meters to start with and see if any difference can be seen

I think I’ve answered you on Facebook too, but have you had a price for it recently? By god it’s almost as much as we’ve ever paid for diesel!

We have been on it for two years yes it is a few pence dearer but you never have to worry about fuel filters again just change at normal service time and when we cut them open they are a lot cleaner than when use to be on the old fuel that would never get to normal service time
